Welcome to the first ever Picc-A-Dilly Flea Market blog!  Well actually let's call it a blogette as we don't intend to be that wordy......I hope.

Anyway, besides the fabulous owners of the market who attend to every detail, what it takes to make the Picc-A-Dilly so special and Eugene's best flea market are the permanent sellers that come twice a month to bring you the most unique, antique, vintage and everything in between wonderful wares that you could hope to find at a market.  These are the people that work terrifically hard for your shopping/collecting pleasure.

We'd like to start out our blogette by featuring one of these permanent sellers.  So please meet Charlie Letts.

Charlie has been with the Picc-A-Dilly for over 10 years and usually can be found at tables 4 and 5 in the East room.(The East room is the one to the left of the center room)

So I asked Charlie what made him enjoy selling at the Picc-A-Dilly so much that he's kept it up for 10 years?
Charlie had a twinkle in his eye and a bigi ol smile when he told me that it's the socialness of it all.  The buyers and the sellers and the socializing.  He said it's like meeting up with family twice a month and he looks forward to it.  Charlie loves talking with people about what they are buying.  He says that you can find the most unique items at the flea that can't be found anywhere else and for reasonable prices too!

When I was talking with Charlie his table held an assortment of items.  I asked him if he specialized in what he sells and Charlie replied that he loves media and is drawn to offering books, art, music and that sort of thing, but will bring anything and everything that he finds that he thinks would appeal to someone.  So as you can imagine the mix of items is always fun and changing.

I had time for one last question to Charlie as the crowds were starting to gather at his tables so I asked him what the most unique funny or interesting thing he ever sold was?

Well that eye twinkle came back followed by the big ol smile and he just said hmmmm.  I'll have to think on that.

So next time you are at the market stop by and say Hi to Charlie and maybe ask if he has the answer to that question yet.

That's all for now,  :)
